How we use cookies.
Plain language, no surprises: we only use the cookies needed to run your account, cart and checkout.
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Khollege (khollege.com) uses cookies and similar technologies, what each one does, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages and visits, such as that you are logged in or what is in your cart. Similar technologies, like your browser's local storage, work the same way and are covered by this policy too.
The short version
- We only use cookies that are needed to run the site: logging in, your cart, checkout and security.
- We do not use advertising or cross site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.
- If we ever add optional cookies, such as analytics, they only load after you choose Accept all in our cookie notice, and we will list them here first.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies are required for the site to work, so they cannot be switched off in our notice. You can still block them in your browser, but logging in, enrolling and checkout will then stop working.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long | Type |

wordpress_test_cookie | Khollege | Checks that your browser accepts cookies so you can log in. | Session | Essential |
wp-settings-*, wp-settings-time-* | Khollege | Remembers display preferences for logged in users. | 1 year | Essential |
wp_woocommerce_session_* | Khollege | Keeps track of your cart and checkout. | 2 days | Essential |
woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart | Khollege | Remembers what is in your cart. | Session | Essential |
_lscache_vary | Khollege | Makes sure logged in visitors and shoppers see the right version of a page instead of a cached one. | Session | Essential |

__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Set by our payment provider during card checkout to prevent fraud. | 1 year and 30 minutes | Essential |
The Stripe cookies are only set when card payments are active on our checkout page. Stripe describes them in its own cookie policy.
Optional cookies
We do not currently use any optional cookies. Our cookie notice still lets you choose Essential only or Accept all, and your choice is saved so that anything optional we add in the future respects it automatically.
Third party content
- Lesson videos. Many lessons play videos hosted on YouTube and a few other video services. When you play an embedded video, that service may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under its own privacy policy. See how Google uses cookies.
- Fonts. Our fonts load from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies, but your browser shares your IP address with Google to download the font files.
How to change your choice
- Use the Cookie settings link, also in the footer of every page, to reopen our notice at any time.
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Guides: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the cookies we use change, and change the date at the top. If we add optional cookies, we will ask for your choice again.
